How do you apply for an SBI Pulse Card?
Below are the steps to apply for a SBI Pulse Card:
Step 1: Launch the official website of SBI Card.
Step 2: Under the tab “Apply”, click “Apply Now”.
Step 3: A list of all cards will then be displayed on the screen.
Step 4: Choose the SBI Pulse credit card and click “Apply Now”.
Step 5: Fill out the details required in the application form and click “Submit”.
Eligibility Criteria
Mentioned below are the eligibility parameters to apply for SBI Pulse Credit Card:
- The minimum age of an applicant should be 18 years.
- The maximum age of an applicant should be 65 years.
- An applicant can either be a salaried individual or a self-employed individual.

Different Ways to Activate SBI Pulse Credit Card
Mentioned below are the different modes to activate and generate the PIN of the SBI Pulse Credit Card:
- Online Method
- Via Internet Banking
Step 1: In the case of a first-time user, the cardholder is required to register first.
Step 2: Then, he/ she is required to generate a PIN.
Step 3: Visit the SBI portal and log in using your credentials.
Step 4: Navigate to the tab “Requests”.
Step 5: Now, select the tab “Card Activation”.
Step 6: Enter the credit card number along with the OTP received on your registered device.
Step 7: Re-enter the same OTP.
Step 8: Authorize the process by clicking “Activate”.
Step 9: If you are not a first-time user, log in using your credit card number and PIN.
Step 10: Click “Submit”.
1. Via Mobile Banking
Step 1: Install the SBI mobile banking app on your smartphone.
Step 2: If the application has already been installed, log in to your account.
Step 3: In the case of a first-time user, generate the User ID and password to log in to your account.
Step 4: An OTP will be received on your registered mobile number.
Step 5: Enter the same and click “Proceed”.
Step 6: Set the MPIN and then enable touch ID for credit card activation.
Step 7: Navigate to the tab “Requests”.
Step 8: Choose the option for card activation.
Step 9: Enter the credit card details like credit card number, CVV number, and expiry date of the card.
Step 10: Confirm the details and click “Activate”.
2. Via E-Mail
Step 1: At first, log in to your SBI card account.
Step 2: Under the tab “Contact Us”, click the option “E-mail”.
Step 3: Enter your SBI credit card number and then request for the card to be activated.
Step 4: A confirmation message will then be received on the SBI card account and also on the registered e-mail ID.
- Offline Method
- By Visiting ATM
Step 1: Visit any nearest ATM.
Step 2: Insert the card into the ATM machine.
Step 3: Choose the desired language.
Step 4: Set the ATM PIN with the help of OTP.
Step 5: Provide the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
Step 6: Provide the mobile number for verification purposes.
Step 7: After that, a 4-digit pin will be received.
Step 8: Re-type the same and click “Confirm”.
Step 9: Once it is completed, click “Submit”.
3. By Calling Customer Care Number
Step 1: Call the toll-free number 1800 180 1290 to get the card activated by calling customer care.
Step 2: Follow the instructions as per the IVR response.
Step 3: Provide the credit card details, mobile number, and e-mail address for the purpose of verification.
Step 4: Proceed further to get the SBI card activated.
4. By Sending an SMS
Step 1: Register yourself for first-time users.
Step 2: Change the PIN for security reasons.
Step 3: Send an SMS to 567676 from your registered mobile number to get the SBI credit card PIN changed.
Step 4: Type the last 4 digits of your credit card.
Step 5: After verification, send the SMS to get the SBI credit card activated.
