Career
Before taking the step into the Acting and Modelling career Shweta was a teacher. And after some time she received some role in plays. Then Shweta started to act in plays and she has done almost 20 plays in her career. And not only acting, but also she directed many Plays like “Ekach Putra Haway” and “Eka Pavsali Sandhyakal“. Her debut natak or play was “Toh me Navech” with “Dilip Prabhavakar“.
One of the play which is directed by Shweta namely “Majhya Mana” won around 26 awards which includes Rajya Natya Spardha award. And not only this, Shweta Pendse won many more awards, she got 3 silver medals by the Ministry of Cultural Affair for acting.
After acting in many plays, Shweta step into the Marathi TV and then she plays many roles in TV shows as well as in Marathi Movies. Shweta acted in some TV shows like “Jayostute” and in “Assa Sasar Surekh Bai“. Then she also acted in many movies like “Jai Jai Kaar“. She also wrote a movie in 2016 called “Bardo“.
