OKVIP’s charity fund is an integral part of its sustainable business strategy. Therefore, the management has committed to allocating at least 10% of its revenue to charitable and social activities, regardless of profit or loss.
The charity fund is managed transparently, with all financial activities publicly disclosed.
An independent executive board oversees the charity fund, selecting beneficiaries, projects, and activities that align with the company’s vision and mission. All expenditures and income are transparently reported, ensuring the origins, usage, and effectiveness of the funds are clear.
OKVIP’s Charitable Activities in 2023
In 2023, OKVIP dedicated over 200 billion VND to charitable efforts, assisting various groups in need, such as the elderly, homeless children, underprivileged students, patients with special circumstances, and children in remote areas.

“0 VND Meal – Connecting Love”
In June 2023, OKVIP partnered with the “Cháo Lan Tỏa Yêu Thương” group to launch the “0 VND Meal – Connecting Love” program. This initiative took place at the Hanoi Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital, providing over 600 free meals to patients and their families.
Supporting 300 Million VND for Disadvantaged People in Cambodia
OKVIP extended its charitable efforts beyond Vietnam, notably in Cambodia. On August 15, 2023, the group allocated nearly 300 million VND to purchase 292 gift packages, including food and essential items, for disadvantaged residents in Bavet City, Svay Rieng Province. This program was supported by the Bavet city authorities and covered by Channel 5 – Bavet.
“Spreading Love” Journey in Tien Giang
On August 19, 2023, with the approval of the principal of Nguyen Chi Liem Primary School in Long Tien Commune, Cai Lay District, Tien Giang, OKVIP organized the “Spreading Love” program. The team distributed 400 gift packages and scholarships to underprivileged students, including 50 cash scholarships and 10 bicycles, bringing smiles to the children’s faces.
Honoring Veterans and Revolutionaries on September 2nd
On August 27, 2023, in honor of National Day on September 2nd, OKVIP visited Thanh Tung Commune, Thanh Mien District, Hai Duong Province, a region with many veterans and revolutionaries. The purpose was to visit and present gifts, such as ginseng, bird’s nest, and cash, to the elderly revolutionaries, showing gratitude for their contributions.
Challenges in OKVIP’s Charitable Efforts
Despite its dedication to effective charitable activities, OKVIP faces several challenges. As a foreign company operating in online media and entertainment, OKVIP needs more local partners in Vietnam to expand its charitable initiatives. This is also an opportunity to strengthen relationships with local government and social organizations.
Transparency in reporting all charitable activities is a priority for OKVIP, but organizing numerous activities increases the time and costs associated with detailed financial reporting.
